The Mordialloc Football Club has been rocked with 2 Super Rules Players, Jason Vaughan and Paul "Porky" Evans both suffering serious spinal injuries in their game against Footscray District Football Club.

Both Players spent time in hospital, and are now at home resting and recovering. Their recovery is expected to take at least 6 months.

Both players will never play football again!

The Mordialloc Football Club has lodged a formal complaint to the League against Footscray Districts Football Cluband requested a thorough investigation. An investigation is currently underway. We will keep everyone up to date as to the outcome of the investigation.

The Mordialloc Football Club will be holding a special fundraising evening to help the players. The evening will be held at The Mordialloc Sporting Club. Please keep an eye out for further details.
